The Parker Prädifa piston guide rings profile FP are split rings which easy to install. They are extremely durable and allow simple piston or cylinder head designs. They were specially designed from filled materials and show a higher load-carrying capacity than traditional compounds. The rings can be used in all current hydraulic media.

Temperature range: – 30 bis + 100 °C
Admissible specific load: q = 30 N/mm2
Surface speed: ≤ 5 m/s

use our guidance tape profile F2 (see pneumatic catalog).
The mounted rings must show a gap ”k“ . For dimensions see table opposite. The calculation of the permissible radial force is based on the projected area D • L (cylinder) or d.L (rod). For example permissible radial force FR fora cylinder diameter of 80 mm:
FR =D•L•q
= 80 • 13 • 30 = 31200 N
= 3120 kp
Compound:
Special filled thermoplastic material. The different types of guide rings can vary slightly in terms of optical appearance as some are injection moulded, while others are lathe cut.
