The Parker Prädifa piston sealing set profile NG is particularly suitable for double-acting pistons because of its low height.

Advantages of these sealing sets are:

• Simple installation in split pistons.
• Cylinder diameter dimensions according to ISO
  3320. Non-standard sizes are to be found on the following pages (see also the profiles N1 and N2).
• Suitable for commercially available mineral oils;
  other compounds are also available for synthetic media, emulsions, and brake fluids.
• With a rubber header ring, it can also be used as
  a rod seal.

Installation:

The Parker Praedifa piston sealing set profile NG is delivered, as a rule, with a flexible header ring. This header ring is fitted as a complete NBR-ring or open, cut to the required length. We reserve the right to supply plastic header rings in place of rubber. In special cases, a round cord may be fitted instead of header rings. A split piston is necessary for the assembly.

To avoid the free movement of the seal the groove length must correspond to the seal sets height. An axial preload suited to the particular application is allowable

Working temperature:         —40 to + 100 °C

Surface speed:                        ≤ 0,5 m/s

Preferably used for double-acting pistons in hydra cylinders.

Compounds:

“U”-cup:             NBR-based fabric reinforced rub 05015/05016.

Header ring:      NBR-elastomer (N3578) or polyacetal (POM-W5001).
