The double-acting Parker Prädifa piston sealing set profile ZC consists of a one-part rubber-fabric seal provided with back-up rings to prevent extrusion. The dynamic surface of the seal is reinforced with a special fabric. Thus it retains favorably lubricating film between seal and cylinder wall, even after long standstill periods under high pressure. Due to this “grease store” the breakaway friction and the dynamic friction will be reduced and there will be considerably less wear at the dynamic surface of the seal.

Working pressure: ≤500 bar

Working temperature: HFA-, HFB, and HFC-fluids: + 5 to 60 ºC Mineral oil:-20 to + 100 ºC

Surface speed: ≤ 0,1 m/s

Mainly used for double-acting pistons in cylinders for hydraulic roof supports and for tunneling machines.

installation:

The sealing sets Parker Praedifa of the series ZC 00250 are for use as a one-piece piston. The Sealing sets of the series ZC 00254 require an open housing (divided piston). To avoid damaging care should be taken that the seals are not pulled over sharp edges during installation.

Compounds:

The standard compound for the sealing part is an NBR-based elastomer (Z5017) with fabric-reinforced
dynamic surface (SFRm-compound). The back-up rings are made of a polyacetal-based material (W5001).
