In most cases, support rings are unnecessary. The use of polyurethane makes the seal have a very high abrasion resistance. Therefore enables their use at the toughest operating conditions. Profile GD
has been developed as a cylinder seal, but can also be used as a rod seal.
Scope of application:
Operating pressure: ≤ 400 bar
Operating temperature: – 30 to + 80’C
Sliding speed: ≤ 0.5 m / s
In connection with water, HFA and
HFB fluids, the maximum temperature is limited to + 40’C.
Mainly for the sealing of hydraulic equipment.
Installation instructions:
The Parker Praedifa seals should be in the axial direction
Have play (see columns H and L) around to avoid damage. Do not leave sharp edges when installing
to be pulled. Usually the seals can be in closed grooves snapped into place.

Materials:
The standard material is an elastomer basic polyurethane with a hardness from approx. 94 Shore A.
