Mainly used for double-acting pistons in cylinders for hydraulic roof supports and for tunneling machines.

Installation:

The Parker Prädifa sealing sets “of the series ZY may be installed on one-piece pistons. To avoid damaging care should be taken that the seals are not pulled over sharp edges during installation.

The installation chamfer must be dimensioned sufficiently. If necessary, special assembly tools may be useful.

Compounds:

The standard compound for the Parker Praedifa sealing part is an NBR-based elastomer
(Z5017) with a fabric-reinforced dynamic surface (SFR® -compound).
The back-up rings are made of a polyacetal-based material (W5001).
