The Parker Prädifa PDF rod seal profile RB has been developed especially for multi-stage telescopic cylinders and stands out due to the narrow profile width. A backup ring on the inside diameter prevents the gap extrusion and extends the service life and helps reduce friction.

Operating pressure = ≤ 250 bar
Operating temperature: 20 to + 1000 C
Sliding speed = ≤ 0.5 m / s

Installation instructions:
From an inside diameter of 30 mm
these Parker Praedifa PDF rod seals operate without problems in closed grooves
When installing make sure that the rings are not
be pulled over sharp edges. Because of the narrow profile width
it is necessary to precisely set the groove dimensions.

Compounds:
The standard compound of this seal is the
well-accepted special elastomer SFR © (NBR-based) with a Shore hardness of approx. 85 A. The most significant properties of these compounds are the very good anti-friction properties and the low wear. The back-up ring is made of polyacetal(POM).
